The Junto Sessions
In 1727 Benjamin Franklin organized a group of friends to provide a structured forum for discussion. He called the group “The Junto.” The members of The Junto were drawn from diverse occupations and backgrounds, but they all shared a spirit of inquiry and a desire to improve themselves, their community, and to help others.
Nearly 300 years later, a group of like-minded magicians set out to apply Mr. Franklin’s Junto concept to the craft of magic. A few times a year Wayne Houchin and Steve Johnson are joined by their friends to sit and discuss what they consider to be a paramount work that may be overlooked by the greater community of magic.
Held in the Steve’s backroom library at his Grand Illusions magic store, these sessions are broadcast via Internet television and relay chat to all who care to watch, learn and participate. Join us!
