These cards are designed to maintain their original form and to behandled for many hours without symptoms of wear or suffering any tears.
Madein Vitoria, Spain, and printed on Fournier's thickest cardstock, theVintage Brown 605s are finished with an exclusive varnish formulaguaranteeing a precise slide.

Why the 605 series was printed with Fournier...Quality.

In recent times, almost anyone making custom printed decks dealt strictly with the Cincinnati branch of the US Playing Card company. While those decks being mass-produced are decent, they certainly lackthe raw materials, care and quality control that some European cardmanufacturers offer.

For instance:

1) Have you ever opened a deck of cards to find the long sides are not smooth to the touch?
2) Have you ever played with a deck cut in a way that the left border is larger than the right border?

If your answer is YESto either of those questions, you're not alone! These are all-to-commonissues when mass producing custom playing cards. But the Lee Ashersignature 605 series is different.

Not many magic tricks can be called a "Timeless Classic" but I'm pretty sure that as long as playing cards are still being used by society, the Rising Card illusion will remain in that category.
The effect is straight forward and simple: a card or cards are chosen and returned to the deck, one at a time the card(s) rise from the deck unaided by the magician. In a glass, on the table or even in the spectator's hands, the card rises inexplicably and erily from the deck. The card can immediately be plucked from the deck for inspection.

Imagine opening a box of cards, removing one card and placing the remaining boxed deck on the table.  You show a small, black frame just large enough to fit the card box.  You place the card back in the card box with the others, close the flap and push the cards and box into the black frame.

    The cards are gone.

·        NO MIRRORS

·        NO SLEIGHT OF HAND

Eye Exam

It's two... two... two tricks in one. You can perform it as a card revelation or a packet trick.

Performed as a packet trick with the theme of a vision test, a four of a kind is shown. The spectator is asked which card was face down, they say, none. The cards are shown and the Heart is face down. One at a time the remaining cards turn face down (showing a red back). Then all the cards are face up again. To test their color vision, they are asked to name the back color of the cards (red). All the backs are seen to have blue backs. To test their vision retention, one card is pocketed, but four cards are shown. The cards are turned face down, and the spectator is asked to read the top line (an eye chart is printed in bold black letters on the backs of all four cards which are examinable!)

As a card revelation, the spectator selects a card (Force). After several failed tries the magician asks for the name of the selected card and to make sure the card was seen correctly, an eye exam is given. The trick then finishes as before and the name of the selected card is seen printed on the eye chart!

Eye Exam is very easy to do (if you can hold two card together as one, that's all you need to do!)

Also includes a page of additional tips and hints called Eye Exam Extras that give hints and tips, and a finish where the cards are examinable (thanks to a Paul Harris suggestion). It also gives you neat ideas like how to produce a rubber eyeball at the finish.

A hilarious effect in which the magician, playing a bit of a goof, claims that a blue can containing a spectator’s borrowed watch will magically float from one metal tube to another.

After very plainly lifting and carrying the can from one tube to another, the magician claims that he was only kidding and that he will magically make the can and the watch return to the original tube without touching the can.

The magician snaps his fingers and, sure enough, the can with the watch has returned to the first tube magically! Then, as a bonus, the second tube is lifted and a glass of water with a goldfish (not included) has appeared!

The Effect:  Ten laminated cards are shown, each card has ten drink names on each side.  The cards are laid out colored side up and the audience member asked to mentally select one of the one hundred different drinks and then to turn over the card that their drink was on.  The magician then turns over ALL of the cards and scrambles them.  (Or allows the audience to scramble them.)  The cards are then laid back out, white side up.  The audience member tells the magician what card their drink is currently on and the magician, amazingly, can tell the audience which drink they selected.

Twist their thoughts. Distort perception.

A collaboration with ideas from Wayne Houchin, Michael Ammar, Kenneth Peh, and Jonathan Bayme. A card is chosen. In this case, it's the Six of Diamonds. The Four of Diamonds is also used. You clearly place the Six of Diamonds in the spectator's closed hands (in a sandwich manner), holding on to the Four of Diamonds.

As you slowly shake the Four, the pips -- that is, the diamonds -- are seen to visually multiply and move across the card to form the Six of Diamonds. The spectator opens their hands to find the Four of Diamonds, and all is handed out for complete examination.
