The effect is classic. The four aces are removed from the pack and set on the table. Twelve indifferent cards are also removed, three of them placed on top of each Ace. A spectator selects one of the four-card packets, and holds on to it for safekeeping.

Then the magic happens. One by one, the other three Aces visually vanish. As if bearing witness to trick photography, your spectators will swear that the Aces are melting away before their eyes!

Of course, when the spectator examines the cards in his possession, he discover that they are none other than the four Aces!

  Effect:

The performer calmly walks onto the stage. In one hand he carries a folding chair. The other hand holds a large curtain suspended from a rod, and this is propped up against his shoulder as he walks. The performer moves to the center of the stage and unfolds the chair in front of him.  He now drapes the curtain in front of the chair, but holds it just above the stage level, so the audience has a clear view underneath the chair. The magician raises the curtain high enough so that the entire chair is visible, and then lowers it so that the chair is once again covered for just a moment. Now in a startling climax, the curtain is immediately dropped, revealing a child standing on what was just an empty chair!

Effect: A signed coin magically penetrates through a sealed can of soda or beer. The can is opened, the contents poured out and trapped inside is the initialed coin. The effect can be performed anywhere, at anytime with no special props, no switches, no gimmicks, and no setup. Both the coin and the can may be borrowed. In fact, the spectator can keep the can with their signed coin trapped inside.

     Not many magic tricks can be called a "Timeless Classic" but I'm pretty sure that as long as playing cards are still being used by society, the Rising Card illusion will remain in that category.
     The effect is straight forward and simple: a card or cards are chosen and returned to the deck, one at a time the card(s) rise from the deck unaided by the magician. In a glass, on the table or even in the spectator's hands, the card rises inexplicably and erily from the deck. The card can immediately be plucked from the deck for inspection.
