The magician displays a sheet of plexiglass enclosed in an attractive red frame. The spectators can examine the frame.
Introducing a playing card and a pencil, the magician places it next to the plexiglass, on the frame. Then, the magician pushes the pencil straight through the card and the glass!
Removing the pencil, the card is shown to have a hole running through it. The glass is unharmed.
