The shrinking die has long been a favorite of mine. I think its as fun to perform as it is amazing to watch.
Although there is no sleight of hand, the movements of palming are mimicked in this effect making it an excellent starter for any beginning magician. Shrink the laws of chance!
The magician holds a standard die in his hand. With a pass of a miniature magic wand, the die shrinks to a mere fraction of its original size. The minature die and wand can be handed out for examination. There's nothing to find.
